We help clients recover compensation for their injuries, whether from premises liability or motor vehicle accidents. Our Practice Areas

We hold negligent drivers, careless property owners, and employers responsible for the damage they cause. Our personal injury lawyers handle a wide range of cases, including fall accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, vehicle accidents, auto accidents, and motor vehicle accidents. We also represent clients in medical malpractice cases, where healthcare providers fail to meet the standard of care, resulting in injuries caused to patients. Common types of personal injury cases we handle include car accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, and medical malpractice.

We have extensive experience with premises liability claims, which arise when individuals are injured on someone else's property due to hazardous conditions that the owner failed to address. Injuries at popular destinations like Disneyland can result from unsafe conditions, negligent staff, or defective equipment. Many vehicle accidents, including auto and motorcycle accidents, can result in property damage, severe injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. Victims may also suffer significant emotional trauma, such as post traumatic stress disorder, in addition to physical injuries.

Wrongful death claims and wrongful death cases arise when a person's fatal injury results from another party's negligence or wrongful actions, and we are dedicated to seeking justice and compensation for families in these tragic situations. Injuries sustained in Anaheim can lead to significant emotional and psychological trauma, impacting every aspect of your life.

When you’ve been injured in a car accident, on the job, or in another serious incident, our personal injury lawyers strive to obtain the full recovery to which you are entitled. We are committed to assisting you through every step of the legal process, with your recovery and future as our top priorities.

Why Waiting After an Injury Can Hurt Your Case

If you’ve been injured, time isn’t on your side. While you’re trying to recover, insurance companies are already working to limit what they owe you. Every day you wait to file a personal injury claim increases the chance of losing important evidence, missing legal deadlines, or being pressured into a lowball settlement.

At My Injury Pros, we act quickly to protect your rights and take control of your personal injury case before the other side gains the upper hand.

    Why Taking Action Now Matters

    Evidence Fades Fast

Photos get lost, witnesses forget details, and reports become harder to track down. Acting early makes your case stronger.

    Insurance Companies Move First

They waste no time building a defense. We step in early to fight back and protect your claim.

    Delays Can Cost You Financially

Medical bills and lost wages add up fast. We work to recover every dollar you’re owed.

    Legal Deadlines Matter

California’s statutes of limitations are strict. Miss the filing window and your right to seek compensation is gone.

Don’t wait while they build their case against you. Let’s get started now, because taking the first step today puts you in control.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Government Code section 835 sets out what you establish: the property was in a dangerous condition when you were hurt, that condition proximately caused the injury, it created a reasonably foreseeable risk of that kind of harm, and either a city employee's negligent act created it or the city had notice under section 835.2. Section 830 keeps minor or trivial defects out, since the risk has to be substantial. Notice is usually the fight. Section 835.2 lets you show the defect sat there long enough, and was obvious enough, that a reasonably adequate inspection system should have found it. Photograph the defect with something for scale, log the date, and present a written claim to the Office of the City Clerk.
The Orange County Transportation Authority is a public agency, and that changes the order of operations. Government Code section 905 requires claims for money or damages against local public entities to be presented through the claims procedure. Section 911.2 allows six months from accrual for a claim about death or injury to a person or to personal property, which is a quarter of the window most people assume they have. Present the claim to the transit agency itself. The City of Anaheim is a separate entity, so if a street defect also contributed you may be presenting to both. Get the operator right before anything else. The name painted on the bus is not always the entity that owns it, and a claim presented to one public entity is not presentation to another.
Vehicle Code section 16000 puts a separate duty on the driver: report the accident to the DMV office in Sacramento within 10 days where anyone suffered bodily injury or died, or where property damage to any one person went over $1,000. You can file personally or through an insurance agent, broker or legal representative, on a form the department approves, and you have to name anyone who complained of injury. The Anaheim Police Department's collision report is a different document and does not satisfy section 16000. Subdivision (b) carves out one situation: no report is required where the vehicle involved was owned or leased by the United States, this state, another state or a local agency. Count the 10 days from the crash.
Vehicle Code section 20001 required an immediate stop at the scene of a crash that injured somebody, plus the duties in sections 20003 and 20004. Section 20003 is the detail: give name, current residence address, the vehicle registration number and the owner's name and address to the person struck and to any officer present, and render reasonable assistance to anyone hurt, including arranging transport for treatment when it is plainly needed. Where only property was damaged, section 20002 permits a conspicuous written note plus notice to the city police department. Section 20004 covers a fatal crash with no officer at the scene. Give the plate, the direction of travel and any partial description to the Anaheim Police Department while it is fresh.
Code of Civil Procedure section 377.60 lists them: the surviving spouse, domestic partner, children and issue of deceased children, and where no issue survives, whoever would take the estate by intestate succession. Dependency opens a second group, covering a putative spouse, that spouse's children, stepchildren, parents, or the decedent's legal guardians where the parents have died. A minor who lived in the household for the 180 days before the death and depended on the decedent for half or more of their support also qualifies. Section 377.61 leaves the amount to what the court finds just, and has the court sort out the respective rights of those entitled. File in Santa Ana. The Central Justice Center takes limited civil, unlimited civil and small claims for every Orange County city.
Vehicle Code section 21801 puts the burden on the turning driver. That driver yields to all vehicles approaching from the opposite direction that are close enough to be a hazard at any time during the turning movement, and keeps yielding until the turn can be made with reasonable safety. Once the turning driver has yielded and given the required signal, oncoming traffic owes the yield instead. Evidence Code section 669 then does the heavy lifting: a proved violation that proximately caused your injury, of a kind the statute exists to prevent, to a person the statute protects, presumes a failure to use due care. The presumption can be rebutted. If your Anaheim collision happened on a circular green rather than a left arrow, signal timing and sight distance decide it.
Two tracks run at once. Vehicle Code section 23152 makes it unlawful to drive under the influence or with 0.08 percent or more alcohol by weight in the blood. Section 23153 covers a driver who does that, also neglects another duty imposed by law in driving, and proximately injures someone other than the driver. Those are criminal charges, and a conviction by itself pays you nothing. Civil Code section 3294 is the civil lever: punitive damages need clear and convincing evidence of oppression, fraud or malice, and malice includes despicable conduct carried on with a willful and conscious disregard of the rights or safety of others. Chemical test results and the arresting officer's observations build that record. Ask the Anaheim Police Department and the court file while the case is open.
Code of Civil Procedure section 1033.5 is the list, and it is shorter than most people expect. In: filing, motion and jury fees; taking and transcribing necessary depositions, with travel to attend them; service of process; ordinary witness fees; statutory court reporter fees; models and exhibit enlargements that genuinely helped the trier of fact; court-ordered electronic filing fees. Out, unless a law says otherwise: experts the court did not order, investigation expenses for trial preparation, postage, telephone and photocopying other than exhibits, plus transcripts nobody ordered. Each item also has to be reasonably necessary to the litigation rather than merely convenient to preparing it, and reasonable in amount. Keep receipts as the Orange County case runs rather than reconstructing them afterwards.
They run on different clocks. Code of Civil Procedure section 335.1 gives two years for an action for assault, battery, or injury to or death of an individual caused by another's wrongful act or neglect. Section 338 gives three years for taking, detaining or injuring goods or chattels, which is where a wrecked vehicle and the property inside it belong. So the car claim can still be alive after the injury claim has expired. Treat that as trivia rather than a plan. Adjusters often settle property damage quickly and separately while the two-year injury clock keeps running in the background. And if a public entity had any hand in the Anaheim crash, the six-month claim deadline in Government Code section 911.2 lands well before either one.

Yes, ongoing physical therapy often increases a settlement because it shows the injury is serious enough to require long-term care. Consistent treatment helps demonstrate both the impact and duration of your recovery, especially in soft tissue and spinal injury cases. Keeping detailed records and sticking to your provider’s recommendations can strengthen your claim.
